· Cooking menu items using various kitchen equipment and cooking methods.

· Making sure that food items are always fresh before serving.

· Maintaining a clean kitchen station and work area.

· Working with other kitchen staff to ensure consistent, high-quality food.

· Resolving issues related to food orders or customer complaints efficiently.

· Having knowledge about the menu and accommodating dietary requests.

· Arranging, garnishing, and plating dishes to Our standards.

· Checking food before it’s given to the wait staff to serve customers.

· Keeping regular stock of the pantry and ordering supplies when necessary.

· Working in compliance with food safety regulations and processes.

· Keeping a stock inventory record

Responsibilities:

Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.

Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.

May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.'

SERVER

This position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director with indirect reporting to the General Manager and Private Events Director.

Requirements:
· Experience in the food and beverage industry.
--Private club or high-end restaurant experience is preferred.
· Availability to work all shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.
· Good communication skills and the ability to be a strong leader.
· Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, and CPR Certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases, climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, lifting up to 100 lbs., and folding, unfolding.
Daily Expectations
· Maintaining service standards as outlined in the club's training program
· Responsible for the service of food and beverage to the Members and Guests as scheduled, while adhering to the Midlothian Country Club standards of service and excellence.
· A complete and comprehensive knowledge of the ala carte menu is mandatory, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu.
· Knowledge of all beer, liquor, and wine available at the Club.
· Accurately execute member/guest orders and requests in a timely fashion.
· Notify F&B Director of member/guest complaints as they occur. Rectify, practicing service recovery to resolve any complaints as soon as possible.
