Midlothian Caddie Program
The Midlothian Country Club membership takes great pride in its caddie program. Because caddying is a job requiring physical activity, knowledge of the golf course and a willingness to accept responsibility, caddie training is very important. To this end, on-course caddie training is held at the beginning of each golf season.
Young people and their parents should know that being a caddie is not a 9 to 5 job and a significant amount of waiting can be involved. While a typical round of golf at Midlothian lasts about four hours and can require up to 4 miles of walking or jogging, the rewards can be tremendous. Dedicated caddies enjoy substantial monetary rewards along with the opportunity to learn valuable life lessons and establish lasting relationships.
While we were not able to add as many applicants this season as we would have liked, we hope your son or daughter will reapply next year. To become more familiar with the caddie program at Midlothian Country Club, we invite you to view this brief instructional video.
