Welcome to Midlothian Country Club

Few clubs have the proud history and championship tradition of Midlothian. Established by George R. Thorne, John G. Shedd, R.H. Donnelley and other Chicago business leaders and designed by Herbert J. Tweedie, Midlothian Country Club hosted the 1914 U.S. Open, the Women's Western Open in 1931, the 1948 Chicago Victory National Open and Western Opens in 1901, 1969 and 1973.

Midlothian has always been known for its lengthy par 3s, small, slick, undulating greens and impeccable course conditions. Recent renovations by noted golf course architect Bob Lohmann have helped Midlothian gain national recognition as one of the nation's finest examples of historic golf course restoration.
